Charge Around The Globe | Trailer ↗Vascos por el Mundo - Estambul is an entertaining television travel programme following Basque people living in Turkey and exploring local culture, history and traditions through their experiences in Bursa and Istanbul.
Turkey Production Fixer provided local production services in Bursa and Istanbul for Spanish production company Txakoligorri S.L., for broadcast on ETB2 (Euskal Telebista 2). The programme was designed to introduce the cultural and historical heritage of both locations while sharing the personal stories of Basque people living abroad.
Local support covered the project from the national foreign-production filming-permit process through daily field logistics.
Ottoman Empire by Train follows archaeologist and historian Professor Alice Roberts on a railway journey through the history and legacy of the Ottoman Empire.
Production in Turkiye travelled through Adana, Konya, Çatalhöyük, Ankara, Bilecik, Bursa and Istanbul, combining railway travel with historical, cultural and landscape filming.
Charge Around The Globe follows Alexis Alford’s attempt to set a world record by circumnavigating the globe in an electric vehicle.
The wider journey crosses six continents and more than 28,500 km, inspired by Aloha Wanderwell. The Türkiye leg began at Çeşme Port in İzmir and continued to the Posof border gate in Ardahan, with filming in Pamukkale, Cappadocia and locations along the route.
